Throughout the years, TBG has booked more than one thousand events from the Great Wall of China to the U.S. Ambassador to the vacation in Rome; from huge corporate events and shows to private functions with some of the world’s most well-known celebrities. We never decided to be in the arts for the sake of money. The founders of The Bazel Group – along with each associate over the years who have been a part of our team – we answered a life’s calling to do this work. The seeds were planted early. Our parents influenced us with their spinning phonograph records a few of us sat and watched the Beatles first appearance on The Ed Sullivan Show. We started garage bands, we were the first to buy concerts tickets, and we sat in the sun to hear multiple acts at huge outdoor music festivals. Early on, our parents gave up on us getting so-called real jobs. We were hooked on the arts, and nothing was going to dislodge it. With an embodied passion for the music and the arts, TBG staff members have more than 100 years of combined experience and are experts in events planning and musical artists. This knowledge and experience have made The Bazel Group one of the most reliable, trustworthy, and enduring entertainment booking agencies in the arts and entertainment world. From the back of hotel ballrooms to the sides of stages across the country, you will find us there with a sparkle in our eyes and clipboards in hands. Thankful for the pleasure of being a part of such a beautiful industry as the performing arts.

Ed Bazel

CEO – Chief Entertainment Officer

Ed Bazel is a veteran producer of corporate events for Fortune 500 companies. With over 30 years of industry experience, Bazel has worked with an extensive list of concert artists, comedians, and speakers in over 25 countries. Bazel was named “The Marco Polo of Modern Music” by the Los Angeles Times for groundbreaking work in China. Ed Bazel currently holds the position of CEO for The Bazel Group, Inc. He also is an active officer in music-related organizations including IEBA (International Entertainment Buyers Association) Former President, Life Time Member, Corporate Talent Buyer Of The Year Finalist; NATD (Nashville Association of Talent Directors) Former President & Life Time Member, Board Member, Talent Director and Outstanding Member Of The Year; The Mindful Music Association Board Member, The River of Calm – Music to Soothe Your Soul™ Founder, named in Music Row Magazine “In Charge” yearly editions, and has held membership with ACM, CMA, IAFE, IASB and The Recording Academy. In addition, Bazel is an avid endurance athlete who has completed 5 marathons, organized, and rode “The City of Hope Transcontinental Ride for Hope” – a 3,000-mile transcontinental bicycle ride to benefit the City of Hope, hiked Mt. Kilimanjaro, and participated in two Tour de France cycling vacations (the Pyrenees to Paris, the Alps to Paris). In spite of all of this, his mother still wants him to get “a real job.”

Gina Cheshire

VP of Operations

Nicknamed “Queen Bee of Celebrity,” Gina is a popular member of The Bazel Group team and has acted as agent/producer for numerous prestigious events. Her nurturing attitude, honesty, and professionalism have garnered her the love and respect of her clients, peers, and some of the industry’s most powerful celebrities. Before joining forces with The Bazel Group, she worked for SUN RECORDS and later moved on to PRAXIS INTERNATIONAL MANAGEMENT (John Hiatt/The Georgia Satellites). PRAXIS then joined forces with ZOO RECORDS to become ZOO/PRAXIS (Outlaw Billy Joe Shaver). PRAXIS company owner Jack Emerson later partnered up with Steve Earle to form E-SQUARED RECORDS. Gina worked with E-SQUARED until becoming production director for legendary keyboard player/record producer Barry Beckett (The Muscle Shoals Rhythm Section). Gina directed the album projects of several great artists, a few of those included Aaron Neville, Michael Bolton, and Tanya Tucker. Gina is a member of The Nashville Association of Talent Directors

Tim Shelton

Principal

Tim Shelton is a principal of The Bazel Group, Inc. where his passion for music has blossomed. Tim is also the founder and president of HeartStone Realty. Tim joined the professional world as an accountant and grew to be CFO and owner of a successful software company for 20 years before it sold in 2017. In those 20 years, Tim and his company presented amazing concerts for their corporate customers, and Tim’s passion for music and events flourished. Tim received his bachelor’s degree in commerce and accounting from the University of Santa Clara.
